Hey everyone.
Just a quick reminder to let you guys know that 2 days are left for those who didn’t join my RSS contest yet, for a chance to win $10 in cash via paypal, or free advertizing. On another note, I added a FREEBIES section to my blog. This section will contain a list of freebies (e-books, applications, tools, etc.) that can help you market your blogs, get more traffic and learn techniques to maximize your profit online. I have a collection of free tools that I will use to populate that list. I started with 2 free e-books already and other freebies will follow. I am positive that this new section will become one of the most visited places of this blog in no time.

It’s been 3 weeks since messaoud.info launched as the new version of “The BOOM (aka The Blog Of Oussama Messaoud)”, and we’re already celebrating a new year. So I will try to sum 2007 up and see what we can learn out of it!
So the first thing will be a graphic about traffic in 2007 :
The most evident conclusion is that the launch of messaoud.info domain with my own hosting plan, gave a new breath to the blog. I must admit that it was also due to a change in the attention and time I personally gave to promoting the blog. This is encouraging to see how results are starting to appear.
Then, some figures about money made online using this blog during 2007 :
- Google AdSense : $73.33 ($24.81 in the last quarter alone), which means that it is starting to bring more and more regular income.
- Income4beginners free e-book : $40
- Mobile customization site : 19 EUR
- Dollars For Life : $6
- Zlio : 2.7 EUR
- Few other PTRs and PTCs : few cents
- Kontera (joined 1 month ago) : $0.21
- TTZ Media (joined 3 weeks ago) : $0.15
- Scratchback, Commission Junction, TextLinkAds, WidgetBucks: Just started to use those, no revenue yet.
Which rounds up to almost $145 $150 (Update after adding Zlio) for 2007. That’s $12 per month. Quite ridiculous right? But hey, this is without counting that except the last month, the rest of the year. I didn’t make much effort. So the potential is huge!
Looking forward to 2008 for new challenges and new goals. Stay tuned for the 2008 goals post.
Me again! This is a bit disappointing. But as usual, I never give up so easily!
I think my contest just needs more exposure. Nothing more, nothing less. I will be doing more effort in that direction and see if anything changes.
In the meanwhile, the contest is still there and since there is no big rush upon it (Well for now), it means that those subscribing now to the newsletter will have more chances to win.
… ME !!!! I hate to say it but nobody subscribed, so I will have to keep those 15 credits for me. But hey, you all know the old rule : The Customer is King. If my readers didn’t follow and subscribe to the newsletter, it should be that the offer wasn’t that attractive.
That said, I am going to try to fix this. So here’s the deal : (1) In addition to the daily winners, there will be a weekly winner randomly chosen every Sunday from those subscribed from the previous week (Sunday to Saturday) . (2) The daily winners re-enter the draw. (3) I’m doubling the credits to be won before and on Dec 31st. That means that those who subscribe before 2008 starts will have the chance to win 30 EC credits, daily or weekly. (4) I am offering 5 EC credits for *EVERY* blogger who writes about the contest and adds a comment here with the URL of the post.(5) If we reach 300 subscribers by January 13th (That’s when the contest will end; I know I didn’t mention that in the initial post… mea culpa), I will be choosing a random subscriber to win 100 EC credits and $5 sent to his/her paypal.
I am really challenging myself with this one and am really excited to see how all this goes.

Yesterday was made my first sale through my income4beginners free e-book. And it was literally made while I was sleeping
I made the purchase of the rebranded E-book on Oct 29th and my first sale was made Nov 20th. That rounds up to 22 days between the investment and the first income.

I guess it’s fair given the fact that I didn’t spend a dime on promotion. I relied on free promotion using two major means : - TrafficSwarm : One of the most efficient traffic exchange systems. - Wjob.eu : An autosurf tool. In addition to that, I put a link on the blog and talked about it in a facebook group.
This said, and with this first sale only, I got my investment back and any other sale will start bringing benefits out of this income opportunity.
I am excited to see how it’ll goe in the near future.
